Hello and thank you so much for visiting!
I'm David. I'm a British voiceover artist who was brought up in Scotland and lives in England.
As a result my voice has a soft and earthy Scottish edge coupled with a clear and articulate British accent.
I spent over twenty years as a designer in the theatre industry, collaborating in over 150 theatre productions in the UK, Europe and internationally and so I perfectly understand the importance of communication with an audience across many different cultures.
As a voice artist I have worked on a great many projects in many genres and tend to specialise in Character work, E-Learning, Corporate Narration & Radio Commercials.

Lanark is an historic town in the south of Scotland and these videos were made as part of the Yours, Lanark campaign to encourage people to use the town again as COVID-19 Lockdowns came to an end.
Voicing these Ads was a particular pleasure for me as, coincidentally, I was brought up only a few miles from Lanark (hence a hint of the local accent in these vids)!
Even more joy arrived when these videos won the 2021 coveted VOX Award for Best Voice in Promo!

But hang on... these suspects look, and sound, a little familiar!
Fogtown is a dark and absurdist take on that stalwart of crime-solvers Sherlock Holmes
... with puppets! Yay!
There are several videos here from their fundraising campaign which were enormous fun to voice.
Thankfully, the funding went well and the project's first full-length episodes are now in production!
